Reunion dinner with Vylkians on Friday at Alexandra tze char. It's a great opportunity for catching up with people we seldom get to meet during school term. Not forgetting the delicious food! Yummy yummy!! All of us were so full after that. We had special Yu Sheng which was bought at Cold Storage. The taste wasn't that great, but most importantly is that we had fun tossing it and hoping that our wishes will come true. Vylkians are like a big family, and hope that we can still keep up this tradition even after we leave school.. Feel really warm to gather together for such a wonderful dinner. Love and marriage
A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."
The student went to the field, go through the first row, he saw one big padi,but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realize that the padi is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted !!!! So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.
The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person...."
"What is marriage then?" the student asked.
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick. "
The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.
The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage."

This getting bad.. CNY is less than a week's time and I am still SICK! Flu, sore throat and feeling feverish.. Sigh.. There are lots of things piling up..Routine starts again for the week.. Lab report to be handed in tomorrow.. SS readings untouched.. Lost in biomolecules.. Have not revise last week's econs lecture... Too many things to be done! Hope that I will recover soon so that I won't be so restless..

Wonder what's wrong with me.. Down with flu and sore throat.. Sigh.. Haven't start with my report.. That's bad.. Supposed to meet up with Qi.. Postpone from yesterday to today.. and ended up we didn't meet each other.. Felt so sorry about it.. Have been sleeping the whole day long.. Body is aching now.. Hope fever virus is not invading me.. *pray*

Finally, it's sunny day again! Brought sis out to Bugis for her CNY shopping on Sunday.. At last, she is done with her shopping too! We came home with lots of shopping bags!! Haha.. But she still lack of a top.. She got so tempted with one top that I bought at Far East Plaza on Saturday.. A couple of different designs, all with her favourite baby pink. Shall bring her down on Thursday if possible..
Monday is a bad day.. Lab starts and reports due the next day.. I am now so sleepy... Only managed to catch 4 hours of sleep.. Tried so hard to open my eyes this morning.. Keep yawning during lectures and gotta dragged myself to tuition despite the tiredness.. Shall rest well tonight.. =)

Rain, rain and rain.. Wonder when will it stop..Rain is no good. It makes me feel sleepy and lazy.. Thursday is my free day. Suppose to do some readings for Employee Management and look through the notes, yet I encountered problems printing IA notes..And finally when I am done, I started lazing around watching TV! Aren't I suppose to start doing work? Didn't I promise to pull up my CAPs this semester? I can't waste my final chance.. Perhaps it's time to be "kiasu" and camp in library.. Guess my friends are going to find it amusing and stunning to see this.. lolx.. But I better get my engine warm up before the holiday mood continues till the end of CNY..
Let's talk a little about school.. Attended 2 lectures on Wednesday. Biomolecules lecture is bascially an orientation class.. I wasn't listening most of the time. Busy chatting away.. Haha.. That's bad! It ended early since lecturer had some meeting on.. All of us were sitting in the canteen near 11.30.. Another chit chatting session! Went to check out lab group and ended up with Ginny waiting for time to go for Econs lecture. Econs lecturer is an boring old man.. He has very monotone voice and he is kinda lame! Almost fell asleep halfway through the lecture but I was save by WeiDa Jie's Mentos.. Haha.. At least I am able to recall those stuff that I learnt in J1.. But it's going at a super fast speed and we gotta read textbook! Lots of stuff were skipped and lecturer said "Read up the textbook about this definition or concept.". This is bad coz it means I gotta buy TEXTBOOK! Textbook = money fly away!! Shall declare bankrupt soon.. Sob sob ='(

It has been raining for days.. Dislike rainy days especially when CNY is coming and there is shopping to be done. Well, but I got myself some clothings despite the rain. Went Bugis few days ago and got a white tube, 2 pairs of Jeans and 1 denim skirt. Looking for tops to go with them and still hunting for low heels! Hope can find one that I like soon...
In a few hours' time, my holiday is going to end and it marks the start of my last semester in NUS.. Shifu has been encouraging and telling me that Econs should be manageable for me. He even offered to help me with my doubts.. So nice of him.. Guess I gotta pack up my holiday mood and get ready for my finale..

Lesson starting today.. Yes today! A wonderful saturday morning is ruined just like that! Makeup lesson for Employee Management as Tuesday is a Public Holiday! Have to drag myself to school.. I am still very much in my holiday mood.. Haha.. Seems like I've got no choice.. Hope the module is interesting and 3 hours will pass fast.. Only motivation is lunch with Alicia after lesson coz she will be in NUS too! Looking forward to lunch time..

2005 was a year full of more unhappiness than happiness. Misunderstandings.. Problems regarding friendship, relationship.. It was really hard to balance the negative happenings with school work. I am lucky to have wonderful friends around me.. Special thanks to Meijiao who has been my listening ear all these while and Alicia who studied with me during exam period..
I hope 2006 is a year full of happiness and fun for me. I need to slim down abit and get myself into some exercises. Haha.. Last semester for many of us.. Hope that we can graduate with the desired results and find a job of our interest. Hope that my family will be healthy and happy. Wishing everyone a happy and exciting 2006.
