Finally collected my new specs yesterday..

My eyes looks smaller with specs.. Must be due to refraction within the thick lens.. =(
Results out yesterday.. Though I am considered lucky to have achieved that kind of grades, I don't feel satisfied. Did not managed to pull up my CAP to my desired point. Increases by 0.03.. Really little.. 0.04 more to my target.. Sigh.. I really gotta work hard next semester - the final semester of my 3 years course.. *Sianz*

Met up with ex-colleagues yesterday for a cosy dinner at Michelangelo's. Delicious food, great ambience and wonderful group of people. It's nice to see them again after I left company and I am thankful for the invitation. After dinner, we headed for some drinks and magical show at Winebar 84 located in Gallery Hotel. I love the cocktail drinks! and of course not forgetting the entertaining magic show at the bar counter. For the first-timers at the bar, it is wonderfully amazing. People who visited twice or thrice feel the same too! I had really enjoyed myself. Thanks for the enjoyable night and the two X'mas presents!

Shopping day with Qiuxia at Jurong Point on Friday..But both of us didn't get anything! Guess JP don't have much that fancy us.. Well, we decided to shop at town area one of these days! Left JP at 4plus to attend Geraldine's birthday party at Chevrons. Enjoyed myself with nice food.. Hee.. Mahjong at Weimin's house on Saturday noon. I think I have to brush up my skills! I can't count the number of circles properly, keep mistaken 9 for 8.. Almost thought I won the game till Teck told me I mistaken again! lolx.. I wanna play again though I still don't quite know the rules.. Hee.. Was coughing yesterday night and I woke up today with a sore throat. What's worse is I am going to miss the KTV session today with Vylkians.. Sob.. Thanks to the sore throat.. Hope I won't fall sick... *pray pray*

I am officially jobless! Got a call from my student's dad yesterday night saying that he has decided to let his child try out group tuition near their place. Guess my kid needs to try out a new environment too. She hasn't improve much under my teachings. Perhaps I am not a good teacher, but I can't explain why she forgets her stuff very fast. Maybe I am like that when I am young. But hope that she can improve her results. Though I always "vomit blood" during tuition sessions, I hope that I am of some help to her studies. But everytime I look at her results, I feel so sad and start doubting about myself. Hope that she can achieve better grades and I am thankful that I met her parents who are so understanding, never gives me pressure and understand their child's learning progress.. Now I gotta search for a new tuition assignment. Wish me luck!

Went Kimage to cut my hair with Qi and Liying..Not much change.. Same hairstyle..It only looks slightly shorter with a shorter fringe.Why I have so much hair?I can't do much changes to my hairstyle coz short hair and too layered hair gives me "mushroom" head.. *sob sob*
Guess the next thing is to get my hair dyed. Kimage @ Pioneer Mall is having 50% promotion.. Wondering should go for such a great deal, but it's still some time till CNY.. I don't want black hair to be growing out when CNY comes.. =(

It has been days since I last blogged.. Guess I added some stuff to my wardrobe.. Went shopping on Friday with Qi.. Its nice to be twins once again! Hee.. We wore our white "pom pom" skirt to Orchard with a tube. Both of us dropped by GUESS at Paragon to visit Cheong Yew.. But he was so busy, however he promised a personalised service on our next visit! Hee.. We bought a black short skirt at Far East and decided to wear it for CNY. And I got her tempted with a nice tube dress at Artiris! Opps.. She is still in the progress of considering.. But she cannot resist the temptation of the fairy-like dress! Shall wait for her final answer.. =)

Just back home from Devil's Bar... Feeling so tired..Met up with Jiaxin and Sharon today.. We spent a great time chatting in Mr Bean's Cafe before we headed to Plaza Singapura to walk around. After which, we went Devil's Bar for some drinks. It is free entry for the girls. This is my first time there but I like the place. The music is nice especially the live band.. Guess it is a nice clubbing experience for me though I didn't really dance...
Jiaxin's 21st birthday today.. Hope she had a nice night at Devil's and have fun! *I want the present which was left @ Taiwan.. and the "zhen ai" ring.. sob*

正在看“王子变青蛙”的影碟，脑子里想了很多事。你曾经为了你很在乎，很喜欢的人去努力去拼命过吗？茼蒿在戏里对叶天瑜说“有人让我明白在乎一个人的感受，让我明白为在乎的人去努力，是不求回报也会快乐的。” 失去记忆的茼蒿为了天瑜，去魔鬼草原寻找红星杜鹃花以拯救观美鱼村，假扮单均昊参加舞会以免天瑜被逼穿着比基尼在众人面前跳肚皮舞。每当天瑜有困难时，茼蒿总像王子似的在她面前出现，救她并且替她解围。。。 茼蒿告诉天瑜“如果因为遇到我而害你流眼泪的话，那我宁可永远都没有遇见你。”我想在每个人的心里，只希望带给他们的挚爱快乐。。。可能因为看太多戏剧而幻想自己就像是个公主，有一天总会遇到王子，创造自己的童话，以“永远幸福快乐”作为结尾。虽然我还在寻找属于自己的童话，但我还是会相信永远的爱情的存在。。。我想如果相信有像恒星一样永远的爱情，也许会比较幸福吧。。。
Princess is lost.. Perhaps fairytales is something that will never happen to her.. She needs to be alone.. Wonder when will she find that direction she needs.. sob..
Finally we met up yesterday.. Had our dinner.. Did our usual shopping.. It was nice to meet again.. No more unhappiness, negative thoughts in us.. This is the way things should be.. I am letting things remain this way - the pleasant manner..

Yesterday was the Wine Appreciation workshop at NTU.. My aim was kinda achieved coz I managed to gain some basic knowledge about wines..Found out that my own preference is light-bodied and medium-bodied wines coz it has less alcoholic content and thus the taste is less strong. We got to taste 5 different wines, 2 white (Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay) and 3 red (Merlot, Shiraz and Carbernet Sauvignon). We managed to pronounce these wine names under the guidance of the moderator. Good quality wines of the five type of wines come mainly from France. The basic wine tasting techniques were introduced, which are divided into 3 main steps: (1) Eye (2) Nose (3) Palate.. We can deduce the alcohol level through wine's "tears" which are the trails going back after swirling.. Also the color, intensity and clarity tell us about the bottle age. It is interestiing to observe that as red wine ages, color fades while for white wine, the reverse occurs. When we nose the wine, we are able to deduce the bottle age. Tasting the wine allows us to detect its sweetness, tannin, acidity, alcohol level and wine's body. Other basic stuff like opening a bottle of wine, detection of corked wine (defective wine), the optimum temperature that wine should be served etc were taught.. Guess we did learn alot of things about wine yesterday. Thanks Alicia for introducing the workshop and got me and Teck a cheaper rate!

Finally watched Chicken Little on Wednesday night with Teck.. Haha.. Chicken Little is very cute!
Here is the synopsis: After Chicken Little causes widespread panic--when he mistakes a falling acorn for a piece of the sky--the young chicken is determined to restore his reputation. But just as things are starting to go his way, a real piece of the sky lands on his head. Chicken Little and his band of misfit friends, Abby Mallard (aka Ugly Duckling), Runt of the Litter and Fish Out of Water, attempt to save the world without sending the town into a whole new panic.
